Artist's Description
This image is a study from one of Michelangelo's sculptures. I wanted to create an image for a future surreal painting telling the story of the male as a seed bearer.
None of us would be alive to see this image if the male seed didn't impregnate a female egg.
All the facets of being human are involved in the reproduction cycle of the seed being planted. The body, soul, spirit, sciences, arts, and humanities are all wrapped up in the seed producing its own kind.
This is a wonder to behold. To God be the glory.
